Is this exact age or nominal age?
It is exact age: a year only counts once it is complete, and the result is precise to the month and day.
How is a February 29 birthday handled?
In non-leap years the next birthday falls on March 1; in leap years it stays on February 29.
Can I calculate age on a past date?
Yes. Change the reference date to any past date. If the birth date is later than the reference date, the tool reports it as invalid.
