How are Chinese characters counted?
Every Chinese character, punctuation mark and full-width symbol counts as one character, and CJK characters are also reported separately.
How is reading time estimated?
At roughly 300 Chinese characters or 200 English words per minute. It is an estimate, not a guarantee.
